to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
ACCME defines a Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) as a course that is planned with multiple, ongoing sessions, e.g., offered weekly, monthly, or quarterly; and are primarily planned by and presented to professional staff. RSS examples include grand rounds, tumor boards, and morbidity and mortality conferences. SCVMC, as an accredited CME provider is in compliance with the ACCME
accreditation criteria for RSS, live or other educational activities.

Commercial support is financial, or in-kind, contributions given by a commercial interest, which is used to pay all or part of the costs of a CME activity. Our CME program operates in accordance to the HHS #578.0 Conflict of Interest; County Conflict of Interest Policy Board of Supervisors # 5.16 Conflict of Interest and Disclosure Requirements and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards for Commercial Support.
