The Silicon Valley Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic (MLPC) is a partnership between Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and Legal Advocates for Children and Youth (LACY). This clinic is located at Valley Health Center Bascom and provides FREE legal services to children and youth who are receiving medical care at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center or its clinics.
This clinic can help with legal questions about:
- Guardianship, custody, paternity
- Public benefits for children and youth such as SSI, disability or food stamps
- Educational programs including special education or individualized educational programs (IEP)
- Housing rights
- Domestic violence
- Teen parents
- Homeless children and youth
The Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic can also provide resources for other legal issues. TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
