Adolescent Medicine (Teen Health) specialists meet teenagers’ unique healthcare needs to age 21. In addition to regular health checkups, they also provide services for:

- Evaluation of sports injuries and substance abuse
- Gynecology and reproductive health
- Consultation for adolescent patients being treated in other hospital departments
Pediatric obesity and abnormal weight gain are growing threats to the health of children. Pediatricians and other staff members, working through the Lifestyle Modification Clinic, combine medical and psychological approaches to helping children attain healthy weight.
