NUTRITION & FOOD SERVICES
Nutrition & Food Services at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center includes patient and retail services provided throughout our facility. We offer cafeteria meals for visitors and staff, as well as therapeutic meals for patients. In addition to meal services, we also provide Medical Nutrition therapy to pediatric and adult inpatients and outpatients, as well as NICU milk room operations. As a teaching hospital, we mentor and guide nutrition interns through affiliated schools.
THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT: TEAMWORK & OPPORTUNITIES
We have an interdisciplinary team of over 150 people, including Food Service workers, Cooks, Diet Assistants, Registered Dietetic Technicians, Registered Clinical Dietitians, Managing Dietitians, Food Service Supervisors, Clinical Nutrition managers, Office Specialists, Administration Assistants, and Materials Managers – all under the direction of our Nutrition & Food Service Director and Executive director.
