Dr. Cheryl Ho Awarded Clinician of the Year by the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved
Tweet Share Santa Clara County, CA - The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) has named Cheryl Ho, MD as the 2017 Clinician of the Year. This award recognizes clinicians who work tirelessly to make a difference, with a special emphasis on underserved communities.
“We have always been impressed by Dr Ho’s commitment, dedication, and team-based approach in caring for the homeless population in Santa Clara County,” said Paul Lorenz, CEO, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. “With Dr. Ho’s outstanding work in providing primary care and preventative services, it is no wonder that she has been recognized by such a prestigious national organization.”
In acknowledging her accomplishments, ACU recognized Dr. Ho’s years of dedicated service at Valley Homeless Healthcare Program. This significant recognition included her clinical work with those struggling with opioid addiction and support for outreach activities in the community. The award ceremony was held during the ACU Annual Conference in Washington, DC, in July, 2017, where Dr. Ho was the praised and recognized for her dedication and compassionate care.
