Hello my name is Archana Narayan, I have been a Medical Assistant for 14 years, I have worked in many different departments throughout my career as a medical assistant from infants, adults and elderly patients. I have been working in the Neurosurgery Clinic at Santa Clara Valley Medical for the past 8 years. I am blessed to be able to work with such an amazing team. My passion is to help people and strive to provide the best healthcare for all the patients that I work with.

    I have one daughter who is my life, I have been married for 11 years and have a beautiful family, on our spare time we love to travel and create awesome memories. ​​


    Marilou Dziura, LVN

     

    MARILOU DZIURA, LVN

    Marilou Dziura is a licensed vocational nurse in the Neurosurgery Clinic at Santa Clara Medical Center. She attended Mission College in Santa Clara for her nursing education, and has a bachelor’s degree in education from the Philippines.

      Prior to working at Santa Clara Medical Center, she worked in various care facilities in the Bay Area with autistic and mentally challenged patients, as well as in skilled nursing facilities. She feels blessed to be working at Santa Clara with the most capable doctors in neurosurgery. When not at work, Marilou loves traveling and spending time with family and friends. She lives in San Jose with her husband and two teenage children.​​​


      Jennilyn Torres, BSN, RN

       

      JENNILYN TORRES, BSN, RN

      Jennilyn worked in various adult care settings in different hospitals: Florida Hospital in Orlando and as travelling nurse at Stanford Hospital, Dominican Hospital and Good Samaritan. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the University of Baguio, Philippines.

        With her charge nurse role at Neurosurgery clinic, she enjoys the broader range of opportunities in providing outpatient coordinated care for patients undergoing procedures and treatments for their neurological disorders, brain & spinal injuries. She likes working with the neurosurgery doctors & entire team with patient centered approach and with well-respected expertise. Her other interests include travelling, being in nature and volunteering for the homeless at her local church community.​​

        OR scheduler

        I have had many jobs within the medical field over the years Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Health Service Representative but the job that makes me the happiest is my current job as the Surgery Scheduler in Neurosurgery. I like working directly with all our patients and trying to make your road to OR be as uneventful and positive as I can. I will work with you to make sure that all your pre-operative testing is done and try to alieve any of the stress you may feel.

          Personally I am a native of San Jose, I have 3 Sons and 6 grandchildren that keep me busy and entertained. I enjoy having parties big or small at my house and traveling to other places. Collecting Antique jewelry, reading, gardening and decorating for all holidays makes me happy. It is my pleasure to help you however I can and I wish you the best of health.​​

          Joanne is the Medical Administrative Assistant II for the Department of Neurosurgery. She supports the Chief of Neurosurgery, Dr. Harminder Singh, and staff physicians, Dr. Marco Lee and Dr. Tene Cage. Joanne has been with the Department of Neurosurgery since October of 2017.​​

          Alex joined the SCVHHS in 1994 and he has been working at VSC Neurosurgery Clinic since 2009.

          Alex is compassionate and he would do his best to meet a patient’s need. His goal is to provide the best care to our community.

            Alex said, “I am so fortunate to be part of the Neurosurgery team”.

            In his leisure time, Alex enjoys running, hiking and cycling.​​
