New arrivals are screened for communicable diseases including tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and parasitic infections as well as chronic health conditions.
Patients with chronic medical conditions are linked with primary care services and specialty care services as needed. Adult patients receive the vaccinations required to complete the immigration process.
The clinic has a partnership with the Center for Survivors of Torture to increase access to counseling and mental health services. Civil surgeon services are available to refugees and asylees who have completed assessments in the clinic.
