The Language Services Department at SCVMC provides interpreters in almost any language 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no charge to you for these services.
When you visit your doctor at a regular appointment, you can speak with someone in your language, usually by phone. It works best if you let us know you would like this service when you make your appointment.
If you need an interpreter during your hospital stay, please tell your nurse or doctor and arrangements will be made. You can reach Language Services by calling toll free to Valley Connection at 1 (888) 334-1000.
If you have a concern or complaint about these services, you can contact the Customer Service Department at (408) 885-4826. You may also submit a complaint to the United States Department of Health & Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, toll free at 1 (800) 368-1019.
