Sepsis is a serious worldwide health care condition that is complicated, expensive, and associated with high mortality rates. September is Sepsis Awareness Month, and to coincide with that, the Sepsis Committee at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is hosting the 7th Annual Sepsis Seminar on September 5th.
Learn the science and strategies for reducing sepsis related mortality from some of the leading national sepsis experts.
This year’s content will include discussion on some of the controversies surrounding the 2018 Surviving Sepsis Campaign Guidelines, the Vit C therapy protocol and procalcitonin testing (are they real or just hype?), and how human factors influence sepsis detection and management and healthcare outcomes.
There is an option to pay by credit card (additional processing fee already included in the listed price on link) using the VMC Foundation’s charity web link https://ssl.charityweb.net/vmcfoundation/sepsis.htm but they will not process your registration for the seminar. The registration form must be filled out and returned to me to complete the registration process (submit via email, fax or USPS).
