ABOUT OUR RESIDENCY PROGRAMS

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center residency programs are active clinical programs that offer a challenging diversity of patient care and bedside teaching. The residency programs also feature general and subspecialty conferences.

Faculty attending physicians of the clinical teaching program are experienced, motivated and enthusiastic. Since Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is a public hospital with a full range of acute care, intensive care, rehabilitation, emergency and outpatient services, cases are complex, diverse and wide-ranging.

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center residency program graduates have entered a number of subspecialty fields, as well as primary care medicine. The fellowships and primary care positions obtained by graduates reflect the quality of the residency programs and the education provided by a highly skilled and trained staff. We welcome your interest in both Santa Clara Valley Medical Center-based and affiliated residencies.
